Originally from New Hamphire, Debbie and her son Joey moved here in 1993, to be close to her parents, Buzz and Gwen Bernard, owners of the Travel Authority in Homosassa.

 Debbie proudly served in the US Navy from 1982 through 1988, where she was stationed in Orlando for boot camp, then to Philadelphia for school. She served aboard the USS Dixon in San Diego and then SIMA in Honolulu.

 Honoring her country and serving the community has been a priority in her life.  After relocating to Florida, Debbie and her son Joey, opened up their home to foster children in Citrus county for over 12 years and 100+ kids.  She says it was the best experience, and is extremely thankful for her two adopted daughters, Allison and Lindsay.

With her son in college at the University of South Florida (GO Bulls!) in Tampa, and her daughters in middle and high school here in Citrus county, she feels extremely blessed.

Time with the whole family is most important to her, where you'll find them enjoying the movies, diving, boating, or attending a Bucs game!(and occasionally flying to a Patriots' game)
